# Feature: Global Emojo Registries

Twitch official global emotes <https://twitchemotes.com/>, and twitch also has a series of third party emote registries:

* <https://betterttv.com/emotes/global>
* <https://www.frankerfacez.com/>
* <https://7tv.app/emotes?page=1>

My pitch is simple... Create a similar service (hopefully open source) to allow instance administrators to register to ingest emojos managed by a emojo register.

I'd imagine global emojo could be flagged with `::flowers:: or similar.`

MastoDev could build/maintain a mainstream/primary register at <https://emojo.joinmastodon.org>, and others could build their own.

Having a primary location that people can submit emojo and have them reviewed/audited in a single federation wide (for those instances who opt-in)... will offer the Mastodon/Fediverse community access to a curated and fun collection of emojo. over time, people can add new emojo sets of common emojo.\
\
\+ This allows artists to attach metadata to promote the emojo they create... People can support the arts by commissioning them for more emojos.\
\
Sidenote: Twitch emotes are a fairly large economy, with artists being commissioned to make high quality animated emotes... example: <https://jdude.tv/cheermotes>
